in other news the Dallas Deception traveled to Fayetteville Arkansas to play the Southern Scallawags/Twin City Terrors/Mid-West Monsters.

you know there are times running with the roller derby when you get to do things you would never dream of doing in real life a few weeks ago it was roller skating top speed through a haunted house…this week it was hammered skating at the rink with a beer (man our rink managers in Dallas would freak) Thanks to The Southern Scallawags for making one of my dreams that I didn’t even know existed come true.

Thanks to the Arkansas Killbillies and Southern Scallawags again for hosting us I seem to make this trip the same time every year and it’s always some of the most fun I have all year. And thanks again to the Oklahoma Victory Dolls they always seem to be whereever I go and are always great!

we got stuck in Charloette, NC and they wouldn’t let us leave so we showed them what happens when you strand rollergirls in your airport over night

the next day our flight was delayed again we spent about 22 hours trying to get home to Dallas

but we made it

Thanks to the Boston Derby Dames for having us I had a freaking blast. And as always thanks to my Devils for taking Chuck and myself we had the time of our lives…

Last weekend I traveled up to see my derby brothers and sisters in Fayetteville, Arkansas to ref a bout for the NWA Rollergirls. I didn’t get any pictures at the bout because reffing is hard work and you seldom get down time for photos. After the bout I got the pleasure of hanging out with the Backwoods Betties, the Arkansas Killbillies, The Pikes Peak Derby Dames All-Stars, and the Oklahoma Victory Dolls. I spent waaaay too much money on gas but the good times far outweighed the cost of travel.
